WSL Week 10

Birmingham City Women vs Arsenal Women

2-0

Manchester United loanee Emily Ramsey started once again in goal for Birmingham City in a tough test against Arsenal. The Gunners were heavy favourites coming but its was the Blues who scored early in the first half and quickly doubled their lead in great fashion. Arsenal had a few attempts on goal that were swatted away by 21-year-old Ramsey in goal. Some solid saves and a terrific team performance sees Birmingham City go above Leicester City and outside of the relegation zone.

Reading Women vs Leicester City Women

1-0

20-year-old starlet, Molly Pike played the full 90 minutes in a competitive match against Reading but her strong performance wasn’t enough as the Foxes ended up losing by one goal. Pike and Leicester will need to bounce back against Brighton next week to avoid falling even deeper into last place.
