Bristol City Women vs Lewes Women
Aimee Palmer captained Bristol City to their first win of their campaign as Bristol beat Lewes Women. Zoe Cross also made an appearance for the visitors, coming on in the second half. Aimee looked impressive as her side move up to 4th in the table, bouncing back from their narrow defeat last week away to Crystal Palace.
Sunderland Ladies vs Blackburn Ladies
Blackburn fell to Championship newcomers Sunderland at the Stadium of light after conceding two goals in the first half where Annabel also had a good curling effort from a free-kick saved. The second half was much better then the first from the visitors however they weren’t able to find the back of the net. Taking the positives it was another good start for Annabel with more competitive minutes under her belt.
London City Lionesses vs Crystal Palace Women
Aimee Everett started again for Crystal Palace who took an early lead but London City came back to win 2-1 and make it two wins from two and sit at the top the table. Millie Farrow came on in the second chance and had an amazing chance to make it 2-2 but just put it over the bar.
