Blackburn Rovers vs London City Lionesses
1-2
20-year-old rising star Annabel Blanchard started in her 4th consecutive game for Blackburn against a tough London City side. Blackburn struggled to get into the game as the Lionesses scored first after some last ditch defending. Blanchard looked bright when she had her few touches of the ball as the Rovers didn’t have much possession. However, they equalised through a thunderbolt strike of a freekick during the second half. Unfortunately for Blanchard and her side, the Lionesses scored a very late winner to earn the 3 points.
Crystal Palace vs Sheffield United
0-0
Both Aimee Everett and Millie Farrow were in the starting line-up for Crystal Place once gain. Farrow went very close to tapping in her follow up effort in the first half as the Eagles had some good chances against the league leaders. In the end, the points were shared in a tightly contested match between the two sides. The result sees Crystal Palace in 9th place after 5 matches.

CPFC's young midfielder Aimee Everett battles for the ball.
Bristol City vs Sunderland AFC
2-1
FORTE players Lia Cataldo and Aimee Palmer started and impressed for Bristol City in this highly competitive game. Captain Palmer nearly assisted the potential first goal after a sublime long-range pass from midfield, but Sunderland’s keeper just managed to defend her goal. Bristol City won a penalty after putting pressure on their oppositions goal and made it 1-0. In the goal of the weekend, Palmer scored from just in front of the halfway line from a free kick, just managing to chip the goalkeeper as the ball flew in. Sunderland managed to pull one back but it wasn’t enough as Bristol City secured all 3 points at home.
